The business, which provides Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Charging and LED Lighting solutions to commercial organisations across South Wales and beyond has recently moved from its previous Pentwyn offices. The move to the modern industrial unit offers significantly more space, enhanced operational capability, and dedicated internal warehousing for the first time in the company’s history.

In just over four years the InspireGreen has grown from strength to strength and is on track to grow 200% year-on-year, with the company reaching its first full year of profitability in recent months.

A Purpose-Built Base for a Growing Business

The new Lamby Way unit has already undergone four weeks of refurbishment ahead of the move, with InspireGreen investing in upgrades including full LED lighting throughout and EV charging infrastructure installed from day one, a fitting reflection of the services the company delivers for its own clients.

The addition of internal warehousing space is perhaps the most operationally significant aspect of the move. Previously reliant on shipping containers for stock storage, InspireGreen can now hold significantly larger quantities of product on-site, including the capacity to store a full container of solar panels,  giving the business greater end-to-end control of its installations and improved flexibility for customers.

“This move represents our ability to continue rapid growth across the renewable energy market in South Wales. We were bottlenecked by our previous premises, and this new base gives us the space, the infrastructure and the operational capability to take on larger projects, support more customers and be more dynamic in the market.”

“The warehousing alone is a game-changer for us. We’re no longer dependent on suppliers leading on deliveries, we can control more of our installations end-to-end, hold more stock, and pass better cost efficiencies on to our customers. For a business client looking to roll out solar across multiple sites, that’s a significant advantage.”

Riding the Wave of Renewable Demand

The relocation comes at a time of considerable momentum for InspireGreen and the wider renewable energy sector. Powell notes a marked increase in enquiries over recent months, driven by continued volatility in energy markets and a growing awareness among businesses of the long-term financial case for energy independence.

“Businesses are waking up to the fact that they’ve been missing out on huge savings. For every unit of energy you stop buying from the grid, you’re generating it yourself. Most commercial solar systems offer a return on investment of between three and five years, on a system that should last 25 years. That’s an exceptional investment by any measure.”

— Josh Powell, Founder & CEO, InspireGreen

InspireGreen's growing project portfolio spans public and private sectors, positively impacting communities across South Wales and beyond, including schools, commercial businesses and industrial sites. Each installation represents not just a financial return for the client, but a measurable step forward in reducing carbon emissions and building long-term energy resilience across the region.  It's this impact, across communities and industries alike, that drives the company's ambition to grow. Creating Local Opportunity

The expansion is also contributing to local employment, with a new team member joining in May and further roles expected to be recruited in the coming months as InspireGreen continues to scale.

The new headquarters will also accommodate several of InspireGreen’s key partners, who will co-locate within the building, strengthening collaboration and operational alignment under one roof.

Looking Ahead

With ambitions to become the leading renewable energy company across South Wales and the South West, InspireGreen is positioning itself to help more organisations across more renewable verticals, with an expanded operations and maintenance (O&M) presence and the infrastructure to take on larger, more complex projects.

“We’re on a significant growth curve. These aren’t small incremental changes, we’re scaling fast, and we’re building the foundations to do it properly. This building is a big part of that.”
