Octopus Trusted Partners are a network of verified local installers working alongside Octopus Enery to accelerate the UK’s transition to renewable energy.
InspireGreen officially joined forces with Octopus Energy as a Trusted Partner in August 2024. This partnership is a significant milestone in our commitment to delivering sustainable and innovative energy solutions to our customers across South Wales and beyond.
What Is an Octopus Trusted Partner?
An Octopus Trusted Partner is a local installer who Octopus has verified for the quality of their:
- Customer service
- Technical accrediations
- Adherence to consumer standards
- Company credentials and compliance
With demand for heat pumps increasing over 20-fold last year, the Octopus Trusted Partners programme refers customers to trusted local installers for clean tech installations that Octopus can’t tackle at the moment.
Trusted Partners benefit from the scale and reputation of Octopus Energy, while offering Octopus customers trusted low carbon technologies in their local area.
Octopus Energy’s founder, Greg Jackson shares, ““We have government targets of 600,000 heat pumps to install by 2028 and a deadline to hit net zero home emissions – and the Octopus Trusted Partner programme helps to deliver this.”
Who Has Octopus Energy Partnered With?
Octopus has built one of the largest renewable energy installer networks in the UK and has partnered with 500 companies and 6,500 installers as part of the scheme.
Octopus Trusted partners include local renewable energy specialists installing heat pumps, solar panels, and more for Octopus Energy customers when Octopus can’t.
Octopus Trusted Partner Awards
In 2025, Octopus Energy held their inaugural Trusted Partner Awards to celebrate the top installers driving the UK’s transition to clean, green energy.
The awards featured eight categories that highlighted excellence in key areas such as customer experience, innovation, leadership, and teamwork. A panel of industry experts, including Greg Jackson, selected the winners.
